Title successfully defended—and faster than last year
He even completed the roughly 5,000-kilometer journey across the U.S. about 3 hours faster than he did during his victory in 2025.
The Race Across America is one of the toughest endurance races in the world. From Oceanside, California, to Atlantic City, scorching heat, thin air in the Rocky Mountains, endless highways, sleep deprivation, and countless challenges await both riders and their equipment.
Even the first few days of racing demanded everything from Philipp and his team. In the desert, he battled extreme heat before heading on to the Rocky Mountains. There, he mastered the long climbs just as confidently as the endless straights in Kansas, the constant crosswinds, and the many hours on the time trial bike. For long stretches, he was ahead of his time from the previous year.
The second half of the race was no walk in the park either. Rain, difficult road conditions, flat tires, knee pain, and increasing sleep deprivation challenged Philipp and his team right up to the finish. Nevertheless, the mood remained exceptionally good. Even after several days in the saddle, Philipp kept everyone in good spirits with his wit and motivated his crew just as much as they motivated him.
Finally, the Appalachian Mountains presented the race’s last major challenge. The rugged terrain and sleep deprivation became increasingly noticeable, and an unscheduled sleep stop became necessary. But as soon as he was back on his bike, Philipp found his rhythm again and fought his way onward toward Atlantic City.
Before the final grueling kilometers through the Appalachians, he made it clear to his team once again what mattered most now:
"It's incredibly tough, but we're definitely not giving up. Right now, our motto is: KEEP GOING!"
It was precisely with this mindset that Philipp Kaider impressively defended his title at the Race Across America.
You can't win a race like the Race Across America with strong legs alone. Over the course of several days, training, nutrition, sleep, equipment, and the entire team must all work together perfectly.
Philipp wasn't willing to compromise on his water bottle either. He tested different systems even during his preparations. His conclusion was clear:
“I didn’t want a plastic taste. No harmful substances. No distractions. I tested a lot of bottles—in the end, there was no better choice for me than KEEGO.”
We are thrilled to have supported Philipp in his second RAAM victory. A race of this magnitude really highlights just how important reliable equipment is—so that athletes can focus on what matters most.
The Philipp Kaider Song for Download
Throughout the entire race, we were on the edge of our seats along with the KEEGO community. So, to give everyone a little motivation for the final kilometers, we produced our very own Philipp Kaider song —an anthem for everyone who never gives up and just keeps going.
Dear Philipp!
Congratulations on this extraordinary achievement. We are proud to be able to accompany you on your journey and look forward to many more adventures together. See you soon in Vienna!
KEEP GOING!
